We have to make some of these! Then I can get some of those sparkly trimmed tanks I refuse to wear out of the house! Hol would look so chic and cute in these too!

Cricut "love note" post it holder

Here are the directions for the Love note post it holder I made with my Cricut. I taught a small class at Scrappers Edge featuring this project! Ingredients : Cricut or Expression Machine Fabulous Finds cartridge Jasmine Cartridge Cricut Tools spatula Patterned cardstock (Cosmo Cricket "love notes" ) Bazzil cardstock Ink Jet Transparency sheet Ribbon Alcohol Inks (Wild plum, Stream, Copper mixative) Chalk Ink Cat Eyes (Wisteria, Chestnut Roan, Warm Red) PVA glue Glossy Accents glue Scissors Ruler Directions : The first cartridge you need is Fabulous Finds. You will need to set your machine to cut at 2 ¼ inch with the pressure at high, and the blade depth set at 5 or 6 depending on the thickness of the cardstock. Set your cutting speed at medium. Out of the box

I just got home from teaching to an amazing group of ladies!  The class was so much fun I decided not only to blog about it but share the instructions as well!  Here is a tutorial for making a Steampunk inspired cigar box!  It is part of a series of classes I am teaching in tandem with Sondra K. called Cheaper than Therapy.  Spending an evening in a room filled with fun and creative people is theraputic indeed.  Well, on with the tutorial! Out of the Box In this class we created a paper covered foam frame to top a paper covered cigar box.  We used Graphic45 papers, Tim Holtz gear die cuts, and lots of fun industrial looking embellishments!
