Starting a new painting project!

I worked on this a couple of saturdays ago at the national scrapbook day crop. I have been toying w/ the drawing since last September, and finally decided to get it out again. I am pleased with the way the background turned out....We'll see how the painting goes!

Faux Prima Flowers

I am using my Cricut machine to make Prima style flowers using cone shaped coffee filters and coloring them w/ various inks. They cut very flat, and then I add dimension by scoring and embossing them by hand. A good way to get just the right color flower for a project. Click here to download a tutorial PDF.
