Here is a quick fun little project using Memory Glass and Memory
Frames! I trapped a peacock feather between two pieces of Memory Glass,
temporarily secured with tape. (just a couple small pieces of tape to
keep the glass and feather in place). I trimmed the feather so that no
part of it extended past the glass. I then carefully inserted the
glass sandwich into the memory frame while removing the temporary tape.
Tah-Dah! Quick and easy pendant gift! This project took less than 10
minutes to complete, and looks pretty fabulous!
Bird Boy Originally uploaded by saunjune This little guy is the first ATC I made for Jennifer (the winner of the Art Lottery at North Coast art swaps). I used a sand filled texture paste for the base of the background, then sprayed with glimmer mist, then inked, and finally dripped a combination of thinned teal colored paints and let them run down. The plastic heart is from Heidi Swap, and inked with a wordy stamp I had laying around. The little cutie boy is from Lisa's Altered Art Collage sheets.
